Ubisoft stated a few months ago that they are planning a Ghost Recon Wildlands Closed Beta. No specific dates were given at that time, up until now.

Following the announcement of the Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 open beta on PC, Ubisoft finally revealed the exact dates when the closed beta will take place, which is from February 3rd to 6th. It is available on all major platforms, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The closed beta registrations were opened way back – and they still are, so there’s time to sign up – on the website www.ghostrecon.com/beta.

Those who are selected will be contacted by email; they can check their access key at https://account.ubisoft.com/beta-access.

The beauty of it is that all participants can invite up to 3 of their Ubisoft Club friends (formerly known as Uplay) to take part in the Ghost Recon Wildlands Closed Beta. Ubisoft did something similar with their upcoming game For Honor.

It’s interesting, because you get to play the closed beta content solo or in 4 player co-op. While the full game features a massive open world set in Bolivia, only one province, Itacua, is available during the beta.

However, as Ghosts you can explore all the content in the area, main story missions and side activities alike. You also get a preview of the character customization and gunsmith feature.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be released on March 7, 2017, for PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One, and PC.

Amazon is taking pre-orders for $59.96$69.99, and $99.99 for the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition and Gold Edition, respectively.

If you are an avid collector you might want to spend “some” extra money, $170, and get the War Within the Cartel Bundle Edition. Truth be told, Europe is getting better collector editions for Ubisoft games.

GRW is featured on our list of Best Xbox One Games to Buy in 2017. Personally, I am very curious about it and we will cover it in-depth on our YouTube channel.

We mentioned above about a beta for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3. Well, it seems that it will start at the same time with Ghost Recon Wildlands Closed Beta. If you get accepted in both betas, which one will you play? Share what you think in the comments section.
