Scarygirl is a free action platformer video game that can be played online on the game’s official website scarygirl.com; however, it was also ported on PS3 and Xbox 360 as a downloadable game available via PSN and Xbox 360.
The console versions of Scarygirl became available on January 18, 2012 for Xbox and January 24, 2012 for PlayStation 3; featuring a similar gameplay as the one that can be experienced in Scarygirl for PC.
Scarygirl for Xbox 360 and PS3 was developed by TikGames and was published by Square Enix, being rated E10 for Everyone 10+.
Scarygirl Achievements List, Gameplay and Story
In the game, the player assumes the role of a young girl (Scarygirl) who wakes up on a deserted peninsula.
Eventually, Scarygirl is adopted by a very intelligent octopus named Blister who seems to know the answers for all the questions in the world, except one: Who is the bearded man that appears in Scarygirl’s nightmares?
Guided by a kung-fu rabbit known as Bunniguru, the player accompanies Scarygirl in her epic adventure to find the bearded man and stop her nightmares.
As a platformer game, Scarygirl offers a vast list of enemies and bosses that must be defeated; as well as challenging puzzles that can be solved by players.
The characters in the game and the environments were created by Nathan Jurevicius the world acclaimed Australian artist.
Scarygirl can be played in the single player mode or in the co-op offline mode, along with a friend.
In this mode, the second player controls Bunniguru who will assist Scarygirl by performing his special moves and attacks. One of these attacks is called the fists of blurry.
